Laura Hofberger

Laura grew up in a kayaking family and spent many childhood vacations in the beautiful Soca Valley. The family moved to Augsburg when she was a child, and she later decided to study there to further enjoy the benefits of the Eiskanal. Kayaking was always the one sport that gave her the most joy. With so much passion for the sport, it’s not surprising that she has a World Championship title under her belt from the Oetz Trophy in 2021. She is a queen of the stouts with her approach to rivers and things most wouldn’t try, like double backys off diving platforms… she can also take backslap sunburns like a pro. As well as kayaking Laura is a science and maths graduate, teacher, animal lover, and all-round great human.
